The Initial Game Pass Titles of 2026 Demonstrate Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.
In numerous discussions, fans keep sounding the knell for Microsoft's gaming division. Xbox was recently outsold by a relatively obscure console. Xbox fan sites are now publishing content about PlayStation for the first time. Last year proved to be a period of total upheaval for the Xbox ecosystem. But if we're going solely off what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it is apparent that the green gaming company remains determined to attract subscribers with compelling titles on its key platform.
The Current Inclusions
A pair of titles that are immediately available today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. Instead, the excitement lies in what's arriving to Game Pass over the next few weeks that's worth getting excited about.
Upcoming Headline Games
On Jan. 13, Game Pass will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that breaks up typical Ubisoft design with a space-faring criminal escapade. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, hailed in past assessments as "an ideal blend of terror and combat."
Intriguing Niche Additions
However, the more modest titles arriving shortly on the service are quite compelling. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, the criminally overlooked roguelike that is incredibly fun, becomes available next week — and it merits a playthrough whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game.
This UK-developed survival title from last year may draw you in in about 15 minutes flat.
Atomfall, a survival title with stealth elements by the makers of Sniper Elite, is also a game to check out. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.
A Robust Selection of Games
All in all, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, and they are also not tentpole Microsoft studios games that justify the service alone. Yet, this selection are exceptionally strong. The lineup provides a solid mix of older titles you may have skipped and fairly new titles that didn't get the attention they were due initially — rendering them perfect candidates to find a new audience on Game Pass.
Hope you're ready to part ways with The Grinch Christmas Adventures, though.
